Hi Sajjad,
I'm surprised you're seeing such an obvious slow-down since I'm quite
sure the FWSM does NAT in hardware.
Do you have any other features that could be slowing things down?
Is your test conducted using parallel connections to transfer at a
combined rate of 200mbps, or is it a single connection?
Cheers,
Gavin

Subject: Decreased speed through Firewall
Hi All
I have one FWSM in my network that do NAT ,
When i use private IP ( Not NATTed ) that will bypass the firewall i
have about 400mbps throughput but when I use NATTed IP and go through
firewall my speed decreased to 200mbps.
Is it normal FWSM behaviour or is there an issue ?
