OSPF Domain-ID

Hi,

What is the size of OSPF Domain-id?
As per the Book "MPLS configuration on Cisco IOS Software" it is 2 Bytes.
But we configure domain-id in ip address format - x.x.x.x, hence I assume it
should be 4 Bytes
