We had this happen with some different hardware less than a year ago.
When we called in the TAC case, things got squirly. Next thing you know,
our AM, AE, SE, and 12 friends showed up in ninja suits and politely
swapped out the hardware for us. It's a taboo subject now. I'm guessing
the hardware that we had went deep into the forensics labs of Cisco and
then got turned over to corporate security. Point is, it does happen.
Not just in Information Week.
