          Sorry it's just you , never seen that one before, and I have done
quite a few deployments, however I ALWAYS get my phones from CISCO or a
reputable VAR.

I've seen it on 7960's that came from unknown locations. As hammer hinted,
they
ere probably knock off's.

 both on the sticker and the box, and in the display on the phone in the
 settings...

 i have to check on where the phones cames from i just picked them up from
 the warehouse, i wasnt involved in who or where they came from...

 that is why i was asking if anyone had seen this before...
