Jason,

I was in the same boat as you. Have my R&S and working on SP but I'm
doing SP because I've worked for an SP and am currently supporting an
SP so the knowledge would come in handy... somewhat.

My advice, go for Security since that's where your interest lies and
the knowledge will serve you well.

Plus it's probably more lucrative, I don't think there's anything
wrong with chasing money, if it means a better quality of life,
retiring earlier, or whatever, go for it.

My 2 cents... but I need a receipt so I can expense this :)
