The kindle is a pretty good tool for reading the cisco Press books. You can
get more on the screen than you think - depending on how big you make the
font size. You can also load your pdf files from workbooks onto it and take
them with you.
It is not a color display so some diagrams may be hard to see well. Also you
will not be able to follow a color legend for a diagram.
I don't mind the extra weight of the iPad. For the functionality that it
adds along with a bigger color display, I find it a great tool for study as
well.
