AMEN "you can do alot of great things with GNS3, but it is what it is..."
I have no issue's running OER / PfR on GNS3 but just yesterday I couldn't ping another interface on the same switch, same subnet until I shut everything down "Closed GNS3 and reopened the topology" and then pasted the configs back in and it worked fine from then on! It was the exact same config I pasted in before but 2 hours later! :)
There is no replacement for real hardware!
