CCIE plan changing Enigma!

Hello Frnds,

Is it only me or everyone have similar issue?

I dont know why but i almost always end up changing my study plans n
strategy. This is the 3rd time in last 2 months that ive revamped my plan
completely. Still stuck in the "short-term" vs "Long Term" plans enigma.

I was done with my IGPs, BGP n redistribution and was going through the labs
when suddenly i realized that im not standing where i thought i would be
after completing the theory n labs. So here i am again sorting out my plans
n back to step 1.

Now im thinking about reading jeff doyle per topic than doing its tech
focused labs with DOC CD and than watching its vdos... So I plan to dive
deep again but this time per topic! What do u guys suggest? What strategies
have worked for you? I heard someone saying that a Guy changes his plans for
like 20 times during this whole CCIE lab process. I am confused!
