Hi Hemanth,
Always bear in mind that "OSPF is the best host*". Do you know why?
Because it does not kill incoming routes when you do redistribution even if
you do not configure any metric. One of the most common CCNP mistakes. So
for all other cases I'd configure an appropriate metric. Sometimes you just
need a random value sometimes you have to come up with a precise figure.
Just a few quick points:
1- Redistribution in IPv6 has some nice exceptions. Pay close attention to
them.
2- The value of initial (seed) metric could be important especially when
you're dealing with a dual home customer sites.
* A person who invites guests to a social event and who is responsible for
them while they are there.
