Read TCP IP Vol-1, Operation of OSPF, to get understanding..
1. OSPF stuck in ATTEMPT - Try with NBMA network (one side neighbor, and
other side network command)
2. OSPF stuck in INIT - (change MTU both side interface)
3. OPSF stuck in 2-WAY - (When merge 2 broadcast domain where already DR &
BDR presented - It will take bit long time to decide the DR & BDR for merged
network)
4. OSPF stuck in EXSTART/EXCHANGE -
5. OSPF stuck in LOADING -
basically I used to view 3,4,5 conditions, when forming neighborship in a
broadcast network - with "show ip ospf neighbor" command..
Experts, can you please verify this?
