Cheryl,

What Joseph has said is important. All partners should be aware of the way
the partner programs works. So if they are complaining about it then they
are probably going to be a crappy place to work in the end as these types of
companies and practices are the reason Cisco has setup so many stringent
rules on the transfer of CCIE's.

Then they don't seem like very well run organizations and you probably would
not want to work there anyway. They should have good enough business methods
that a single person's ccie should not make or break them.

You are lost friend.

So, I currently work for a cisco partner and have been talking to other
prospective employers who are also partners. They're all really turned off
by the whole 'can't take advantage of my CCIE for 12 months' thing. I've
been told that, that only applys if they're using me for a role for
certification, anyone have any experance with that? Anyone know of a way to
check that without tipping my hand to my current employer?

Thanks
