I'm not sure about truly redundant (state tables and everything) DHCP on
Cisco but you can always configure both DHCP servers with ip dhcp ping.
That way they are both "checking" IPs before issueing. I don't think this
is the proper solution by any means but you would have two DHCP servers on
the same segment. Is that what you are looking for?

Hi
Is there any way to configure redundancy DHCP server on a cisco L3 switch
or
a router.
other than splitting scope.
Requirement is that one server should be primary and second server should
be
secondary.
if I use two ip helper-address command requrest will be send to both. I
want
it to send to only one.
and if it is down it should go to second one.
