Bellet ...

Hardware never matters in CCIE lab, Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert
highlight Expert in Internetworking technologies not in hardware, as i am
not yet ccie then i have no issue for NDA as i havent signed it yet ... :D
... I came to know that sometimes in exam they got all 4 3560 or sometimes
3750 switches in the lab and sometimes the backbone is also shared and you
were thinking that you were connected directly to the backbone ...

so, if you involve yourself into the complexity of hardware then my friend
you cant be CCIE as the whole exam is IOS features dependent rather then
hardware ...

let me give you one more example, i have seen in some switches by default
the ports are in dynamic desirable while in some dynamic auto, if you didnt
know the proper understanding of dynamic ports then you can fail but you can
survive if you know about it rather then on which type of hardware it is
running.

M. Faisal.
