Cisco XR12000

Hi all
Guys need a quick advice
If a service provider network with MPLS L3VPN in C12k Ios, cisco is
advising us to move to IOX, reasons they give is SDR and software
reliabilitity HA and scaling. Need advices here ;
1- when should I say c12k migration from ios to XR is a must and
inevitable
2- do you guys think that cisco will push all their customer on c12k
to move to IOX specifically in this platform

Any inspiration will be greatly appreciated
