OT: Do we see ORIGIN type EGP nowadays?

Ladies and Gents,
without artifitial manipulation of this well-known mandatory attribute,
do we really see it popping up naturally? I have given it a bit of
thought and could not find a natural way to inject a route with the one.
Would that be fair to assume that such ORIGIN would come with routes
learned from the old EGP (predecessor of BGP) ?

Would be interested in your opinions.
