OT: Fram-Relay with ML-PPP and (Virtual Template and Multilink

I was reading through to configure multilink PPP and came across the following

The only advantage with a interface multilink is that different link could be
bundled.
I have the following scenario:
R1---s0/0---frame-relay---s0/0---R2 |-------s0/1----|
Now what I could think of is associate DLCIs to virtual templates and enable
multilink PPP on the virtual template interface on R2.
But the other way around can be to attach the DLCI to virtual templates and
then associating virtual templates with interface multilink.
Can any one explain the difference between these two methods. What is
advantage of one method over the other.ThanksKhalid
