OSPF config under router or interface ?

I personally prefer to configure OSPF under interface as much as possible,
like OSPF v3 ipv6. I find that I make less typos that way compared to
configuring multiple network statements in router ospf section :)
But on the lab is there a default (preferred by proctors) method of
configuring OSPF?
