Re: R&S OEQ's are GONE!!

Guys also commented that SP and SP Ops tracks are for two different
roles to cover. SP is more for SP backbone engineers and such, while SP
Ops is for those working and NOC/GOC environments. So both tracks stay,
SP one will be updated, though no details were given.

It was also mentioned that some sort of IOU might be made available for
training though it is not shaped into any real proposal. They said that
Dynampis in neither recognized nor supported by Cisco. And it is a grey
area with licenses when it comes to run IOS on Dynamips cause it is
supposed to be run on Cisco hardware only.

On the first meeting two weeeks ago it was said that a virtual switching
solution similar to IOU is being under development, no time frames for
that to be released as of yet.

It was quickly mentioned that Wireless WAN technology is a candidate to
be added to SP track later during its lifetime.

Discharge with honor for elderly CCIEs is a nice move as well. :-)

CCIE program would welcome CCIE community involvement to make a
contribution to a program development and they say it has been a sauces
with this approach applied to RS v4 development and apparently SP track
development earlier. So you guys are welcome to contact them and express
your interest.

I'll come up with more details if I recall more.
