The ---more--- option indicates a pause after a page display as set with the
command:
"terminal lenght x" - (default 40) on a cisco router.

When you do sh run and you get the '--more--' what key do you press??
-if you press <ENTER> putty will print the next line.
-if you press <SPACE> putty will print another page.
-if you press '/' (forward slash), you will be allowed to enter a search
string. This will only search config below the page you currently
displaying.
