Hello!

There are essentially two ways to get an IP address on a PPP link:
You have DHCP and you have IPCP. When you use "ip address dhcp" you
are telling your interface to become a DHCP client and request an
address via DHCP. When you use "ip address negotiated" you are
telling your interface to request it's IP address through the IPCP
mechanism of PPP.

peer default ip address is how you configure the server end of the PPP
link to hand out an address to the other end.
