Hi GS,
I'm currently configuring ntp.
Now I'm confused about the possibility to configure two routers if you should authenticate each other. Because one of them are the ntp server and the other router should normally the client.
If I configure one as the server and the other as the client, there is no bi-directional authentication as the output from "show ntp asso det" shows !
But if I configure with the peer command both routers are authenticate each other !!
Please can anyone tell is this the only one solution for a task like this ?
And if I configure with the peer command the router doesn't act as an authoritative time server ??!!
Dennis
