From my Channel SE:

Hi Nick,

I have not heard anything about legal issues, but Ibll do some research to
find out if therebs some new bit of information that I just havenbt heard
yet. From everything thatbs been messaged to us, it appears that the
reason for the ASA delays are a shortage of connectors from our suppliers.
Herebs an explanation of whatbs happening (not sure if youbve seen this
before):

In any rapidly shifting supply/demand environment such as the one we are
currently experiencing, shifts in lead times, inventory levels and
manufacturing outputs will occur. We have experienced longer lead times on
several of our products. This was the result of increasing demand driven
by the improvement in Ciscobs overall markets. While we may continue to
experience longer than normal lead times, our lead times are improving, and
we expect them to continue to improve through the Ciscobs Q3 & Q4.

We remain confident in our suppliersb ability to replenish and re-build
their inventory levels to meet customer demand moving forward, and continue
to work closely with our suppliers to ensure our extended value chain
operates effectively in order to meet customer demands and requirements.

Ibve seen quite a bit of messaging of this issue internally as it pertains
to a number of product areas, so I know that this is something Cisco is
taking very seriously as it is impacting all of our customers and you, our
partners. While I canbt directly affect the overall situation, if therebs
anything I can do to help you out, please let me know.
