Hi Guys
I am booked to take R&S lab on the 19th April in London through Pearson Vue.
I received an email yesterday from Vue which was essentially preparing me
for the exam,
punctuality, lunch etc. etc.
The interesting thing I noticed was that they has a section for proctors and
this is what it says
Role of Proctors
"The PPC proctors are trained and instructed on proper management of the
testing experience, but are not professional network engineers. You may not
ask the proctors questions about the exam content or ask them to clarify a
question you do not understand. Their role is to manage the testing
facility, ensure exam security and escalate any connectivity issues to Cisco
engineers located offsite."
Now I have only had one attempt before and my proctors were both CCIEs. This
also seems to be saying that they will not clarify questions and it sounds
like they will not understand the questions anyway.
Should i be worried about asking the proctor to clarify certain things and
this is just rules for rules sake or do you think that I will have to ignore
the proctor until I have a hardware problem etc.? Or am I wrong to think
that the proctor should clarify certain things in the first place.
