Salah,

You have an inherent problem with media here. A switch, I am making the
assumption you are speaking of an ethernet switch, has ethernet interfaces.
Console interfaces on equipment are serial connections. Two different
mediums although they both use an RJ-45 for the connector so I could
understand your confusion.
