Unless you are using it for ethernet-to-ethernet/back-to-back telnets,
then no.
The RJ-45 console port is a serial connection whereas the RJ-45 ethernet
ports on a switch are not! The only thing in common is the modular jack
itself. Much like a T1/E1 port (also frequently RJ-45-looking) cannot
directly communicate with an Ethernet.
Signaling types for each of those things using the same modular jack are
completely different! (And besides, even if there was a media converter
available, making your ethernet port operate an 9600bps instead of
100,000,000bps is just mean!) ;)
