Let's backup and get back to basics here. Like Bryan said, how would you
be violating any rules? What are the rules that have been put into place?
If your diagram shows IP addresses in place on the switch SVIs than there
should be no reason you can't configure those SVI IP addresses, and run
OSPF. So, are there restrictions in the lab that you have not mentioned
yet?
