As long as software and license file versions are the same, there should be
no issues.
in 7x series there are 2 version 7.0.x and 7.1.x. make sure you've exact
license file version.

I don't think there was any version 4x. it jumped from 3.x to 7.x. Correct
me if I am wrong but I don't remember having any tech note from Cisco on
this 4.x version of CUE.
