RE: /128 mcast group in IPv6 multicast

Hi Jeffrey,

Unless things are different in IPv6 mcast, the ACL you've specified allows
sets FE45:1:2:3::5 to be the RP for any mcast group.

The ACL should be thought of as (S,G), i.e. the source part of the ACL
specifies the allowed mcast Sources and the destination part of the ACL
specifies the allowed mcast Groups.
(If my understanding here is wrong, please correct me!)

The functionality that doesn't work is I'm trying to set the destination
part of the ACL as a host, not the source part.

Cheers,
Gavin

!
!
!
!
ipv6 access-list TST
 permit ipv6 host FE90:1:1:1::1 any
