Karim,
The Design engineer should instruct the Service Provider to send
you as many digits ( 3 -10) as you need to make your design work. Typically
they will send you 3 or 4 digits but you can request that they change their
swich (DMS-100 ) etc to send you the required digits .
Karl.

If you have DID, the provider will only send the last 3 or 4 digits (at
east this is how STC does it in Saudi), not all 7.

I have an FXO port connected to PSTN. I am trying to place a call from
outside to inside by just dialling into the analog port number, which after
a couple of rings opens a secondary tone and then I dial an internal
extension. The problem I am facing is related to digit collection; where
the
digits I am dialling are not always the digits I see in the debug voice
dial-peer inout for a reason I can't understand and this leads to the call
being unrouted properly. I have tried this without TCL script (by dialling
into analog line which opens secondary dial tone) and with TCL script
(simple script which just welcomes the caller and asks him to put
extension). The weird thing is that it works sometimes & other times it
doesn't work.
Any help will be much appreciated!
Best Regards.
