I appreciate your help ... i can see the workflow and the dedicated tasks
for Candidate database and the tree database ... but the problem seems to be
is

what is the role of link state database ...

in the following link also i see only one point related to link state
database ... i.e

"All entries in the link state database describing links from the root to
its neighbors are added to the candidate database."

is that all link state database is for ... i really didnt get it ...
