May be i can do a little help.
When router come ups and OSPF start its process of building it roots then
LSDB is then one which get populated by all those ospf packets coming from
all the neighbors and are placed in LSDB. Then on this LSDB algorithem is
run by the Router which pull out useful information, for building a root
(which is router itself) and all of its branches (route to remote systems
from the view point of root). Building information for these branches is
coming from LSDB.

Experts correct me if its wrong as have not touched OSPF for some time.
