Yeah it is all in there *somewhere* : ) good luck uncovering a concrete example. There is a lot in there about ATM technology and I don't think there is any one good solid example of pppoe end to end.

IOS is definitely a factor though. The PPPoE config has evolved from vpdn to the bba-group style
