Hi Marc!

The Troubleshoot a Network section has a huge bias toward the two
subtopics of Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Troubleshoot Layer 3 issues (as
it should). I would recommend that you study for this section as you
study the Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols listed earlier in the
blueprint. They will not present a Troubleshooting question on a topic
that is not listed in the earlier blueprint sections.

For the Optimize the Network section, notice there are technologies
here that are not referenced elsewhere in the blueprint. Really focus
on the following: IP SLA, EEM, SNMP and RMON. You might guess that
something like Telnet, while listed, would not be a focus in the
exam...and you guessed right. :-)

For the Evaluate Proposed Changes section, the focus is Section 11.01,
and once again, the great news here is that you can really prepare by
covering the topics described earlier in the blueprint (IPv6,
Multicast).

The question types you will see for these sections are "choose one"
multiple choice, "choose two or more" multiple choice, drag and drop,
or the new Flash-based Scenario style question. For all three exam
sections, I did not see any questions that could not be solved with
thorough study of our (or another reputable vendor's) materials.

Hope this helps.

Warmest Regards,
