I usually use IPerf or JPerf for these kind of tests.
Iperf is for linux and can only be runned trough CLI ... and JPerf is
a Java frontent which uses the iperf commands with the different
flags.
Also make sure you have 2 Iperf machines ... the sender and the receiver ...
