I can remember when the lab changed from the 2 day format to the 1 day
format. This was back in October of 2001 as I recall. This was shortly
after I started studying for the lab.
The conversations were similiar to what I am seeing here since this latest
change.
We were all bantering back and forth with many negative comments and even
pondering if it was possible to be "compressed" into a 1 day format.
We all know that it was possible and there were some pains at first then
as well, but it all worked out. I think that these changes, given time,
will work out as well.

Cisco will modify the v4 lab if in the end they have put together a lab exam with unrealistic & unachievable expectations. I for one though do not like the route it's going as it's starting to feel like all this time i've invested, and continue to invest preparing for this one exam is in vane as it's nearly impossible to achieve now. Then again we are only a few weeks into the new exam, so lets see how it plays out in the next few months i guess.
