Hey Narbik, Mark :)
As you know I do live in the UK, and I can say with some authority that the
market has been TOUGH.
Even for a ccie with 10 yrs of experience I can imagine it is still no
stroll in the park.
When I was job hunting, there simply werent many jobs around.
Granted Im not a ccie yet, but I included ccie in my search criteria so I
know what was going on in the market.
Bear in mind, there are more than likely quite a no of ccies in the uk still
looking for work.
Times have changed.
Hopefully though things do look to be on the up and up.
For some time now, contracts in the UK have been very thin on the ground.
Most of the jobs are for perm, hence there is a greater chance statistically
of landing a perm job than a contract.
Of course as Mark mentioned, you need to be very good at interviews too, to
beat the other ccies to the door.
