My guess is the individual in question is only seeking full time work.
And who wouldn't. That need I understand.
However, in today's global and challanging economy, we (networking
folk) need to be flexable and 'think outside' the box for employment.
It is an ever changing arena, and enterprises with a 'bottom' line are
looking to quickly achive ROI and not a TCO. Because of that business
need, we as providers of networking skills need to adjust.
I also made mention of polishing up on interview skills. I brought
that up because I myself have seen a number of technically sound
engineers/architects who couldn't make a presentation to save their
live. But if you asked them to technically describe MP-BGP as it
pertains to IPv6, their words would be like a piece of poertry or a
Picasso painting.
Thanks kindly.
