Hi, got this working on ubuntu_64, lead was provided by IE support and rest
was simple.

Solution:
Uninstall any of the previous flash installed by going to Synaptic Package
Manager and removing nspluginwrapper( This will remove flashplugins along
with it).

For ubuntu_64bit or any linux_64bit download flash from here
http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html

you will have libflashplayer-10.0.32.18.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz ,extracting
this file will produce libflashplayer.so
This file need to be copied to ./mozilla/plugins, if folder "plugins"
doesn't exist then create one. Need not to say for ".files" have to enable
show hidden files from the browser of your choice. Every thing will be
working great.

Thanks for IE support team for providing the lead.
