Re: CCIE written expiry

The original question: "Can a pass in another written track recertify
R&S written?"

I took this to mean the guy was working on getting his lab, had passed
the R&S written exam but was running out of time on the 3-year clock and
wanted to know if passing a SECOND track's written would reset the
clock, to which the answer is NO.

If you have other certs, be it a CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, CCDP, CCIE (including
lab) or Specialist certs, then YES a CCIE written exam will renew all
those which (per my reading) is what Narbik answered.

Perhaps Robin can come back and tell us what he/she was really asking!
