I can understand the fear. It's called FUD, except that in this case
it's not spread on purpose (in most cases, I presume), rather out if
sincere concern.
Changes between v3.0 and v4.0 are really minimal technology-wise.
Addition of MPLS and few other things should not worry anyone who is
ready for the lab. I think it should not take more than a week or two
to learn those subjects sufficiently.
Troubleshooting on the other hand is a little bit more than a peanut,
but should not be feared. It's just figuring out what's wrong and
fixing it Sort of a thing we do all day at work, isn't it? :-)
