That will remain to be see with the possible Junioer buy of Riverbed.
Although I feel that is more for their WAN optimazation product line.
I have used both and although Juniper does allow for ease of use,
Cisco remains (in my mind at least) a top player hands down.
Cisco's security product line is more refined, widely regarded as top-
notch and used in more enterprise environments. Even when not an end
to end architecture.
But truth be told what it boils down to is budget, ROI and staffing.
Least not forget executive management (at the cto levels) comfort in
whomever's product line. I think it's safe to say that no decision
maker is going to go with a brand they have not had experience with
out of fear of failure among other things.
