LOL, I guess it depends on your definition of "level."  If by that you  
meant the *number* of CCIEs actively certified, I guess you'd just  
have to count the number of employed trainers out there -  most of the  
rest of us would have no choice but to drop it like a hot rock.  Let's  
be honest Narbik, if this sort of policy were to come about, how many  
people would take enough interest for you guys to continue earning a  
living?
But I certainly can't argue that the number wouldn't hold infinitely  
more respect were this to be the recert requirement.  Personally, I  
think Cisco is doing a pretty good job of seeking a more realistic  
middle ground but of course there's always room for improvement...
