Its sounds like t link-local address rite ? Not a multicast addres..

Please correct me . if I am wrong..

It should be " ff80::5000:5000 " rite ?

FastEthernet0/0 is up, line protocol is up
  IPv6 is enabled, link-local address is FE80::5000:5000
