Not 100 types...
When I heard around 1998 or something like that, there are 3000
different kinds of Kimchi.
At the time, they used to have Kimchi Museum.
If you show the reservation confirmation email to the lady, she may give
better information.
A lot of Koreans have hard time for English accent since Korean language
doesn't have accent at all.
So a lot of Korean are much better with reading and written.
Some still have some phobia about English. :-)
Maybe because of poor grade from English class ?
