Hi Naufal,

Did you disable MTU check on both interfaces. This looks like it works from
one neighbour and doesn't when the DBD comes from another neighbour.

Kind Regards,
KG

Subject: ip ospf mtu-ignore

Hi,

I am using a network of routers and switches.running ospf on them.to build
the
neighborship between a router and a switch I had to give ip ospf mtu-ignore
command on the router interface.the neighborship comes up but flaps every
now
and then.

1) What all things you need to keep in mind while giving this command?
2)should i be giving this command on all the switches and routers runnig
ospf
3)should i reload the router after this command?
4)if I am using EIGRP instead,is there any particular command for
changing/ignoring the MTU to bring the neighborship up?

Pls explain the exact usage of this command....

Thank you,
Naufal
