Re: sink RP...

The idea is first.. to run most Auto-RP functions we need to have interfaces
in sparse-dense mode.. that is because the groups 224.0.1.39 and .40 are
required to use "dense mode" to get to all routers.. Darn Cisco couldn't
wait until Bootstrap came out... So now again if you filter the groups you
are going to create in a essence a sink hole by terminating traffic from
going into unwanted directions...
Scott... Auto-RP is a form of dense more anyway.. the groups 224.0.1.39 and
.40 needs to be advertised in a dense fashion ..
