Re: Failed Again!!!

I hope necessary people from Cisco are reading this.
Pretty much everyone agrees that the way OEQs have been implemented is
simply a bad idea.
A no of ways have been mentioned to improve things.
Another way would be simply to have MORE questions.
You can be answering in a written exam, eg.... 30 or more questions
correctly in a row, & then get 2 questions wrong.
If the OEQ was based on the last 2 u got right, & next 2 u got wrong, you've
just paid for an expensive lunch.
News such as this is very disheartening to those of us who have taken the
lab & failed based on OEQ, or are soon to take the lab.
As has been mentioned, a lof of us have families & put so much time into
getting this cert, that it deprives us of time with family.
To then fail based on some obscure questions which has nothing to do with
being a "well prepared candidate" just plain sucks hard.

When I do pass my lab, I will have to put it down to luck at passing the
OEQs and not as a result of being well prepared.

Does Cisco want ppl to pass based on LUCK or level of preparation?

Sorry to hear of your story Dennis, as well as others who failed due to OEQ.
Just keep it going, you've put so much effort into it, the end is almost in
sight.

I'm hoping that the OEQ gets removed very soon.
AFter all, we will have the troubleshooting section to think of as well,
which should test effectively whether a candiate is well prepared or not...
