Another example, my ex-boss whose CCIE#3XXX already expired his CCIE status
4~ 5 years back. He didn't need to have the CCIE# active as he is now
running his own consulting business which earning much much more than
working in Cisco Gold Partner as CCIE previously.
I believe there are many similar cases out there as well. Life need to goes
on. And at every stages we have different needs and we do evolve :)
