wow, I'm glad the penny has dropped. I failed the lab and I was shocked that
I failed the OEQ. I thought I nailed the OEQ. I researched the answers and
still came to the same conclusion. So I must have failed due to the way I
answered the questions or because I didn't see the trick in the question.
Either way, it put me off the lab. to be honest, i failed hte config part as
well, I think I spent the last 2 weeks ramming in theory for the OEQ and
this had an impact on my configuration ability on the day. I think $2000ish
is too much to lose on luck. My company would like me to pass but don't see
the advantage of paying for the lab. I've become so good at config it's
beyond what I need for my everyday design job. So, I'm now doing CCIE as a
background process and I'm not too hung up on the CCIE.... you can't get a
seat at the moment anyway. Life is too short to waste on doing lab after
lab during the evening and weekend.....
take care,
Dinesh
