If this is production, I am not sure this mailer is your best bet.
I assume you have MPLS running fine between the two. Using LDP autoconfig?
Are there any issues w/ LDP peers, and does it come back up after you enable
this this command? If IOS thinks the LDP peering relationship is down, then
you will not forward traffic through this interface ... which would be a
good thing!!! We do not like black holes ...
Once you have asked the IGP and MPLS to be in sync, then this is what will
be required. Now step back a bit ... if the IGP will not forward traffic
through an interface, how will your routers know how to get to their LDP
peers? Have you changed the default peering address and does the router
require a route lookup to find out reachability? Are these being routed
somewhere else once you add this command ... humm ...
There are also some caveats related to NSF, and I am not too familiar with
these ... and I would suggest calling TAC. Especially if this is production
related
Good luck,
